"New Hampshire based guitarist Grant plays music overtly in the tradition of Jack Rose and all those who sailed before him. Like Rose, his sound is equally rooted in folk, blues and protocountry musics, and he also favours the slower pacing many of his peers eschew. Haven't had a chance to see him play live, but the music here is impressive in its stately approach and sure but tricky footing. Nice one."
